QUEEN OLIVIA: EULOGY FOR A TUNNEL

Image
Queen Olivia Today I'm happy to share this video I created over the last week in collaboration with my friend Queen Olivia. When she told me the true story of this tunnel, and her feelings about it, I was compelled to tell her story. For those interested, here are the technical details: The camera used was the Sony Alpha 7SII. Footage was captured at 4K at 25fps using the XAVC-S 100M internal codec. I used a selection of Nikon lenses; a 28-105 D zoom (with macro), a 50mm 1.8D, and 20mm 2.8D. The picture was framed and cropped in post at 2.35:1. The picture profile was PP9, S-Log3 with the "Cine" colour profile and between 1 and 2 stops over. "Detail" was set to minimum, and no post sharpening was added. The video was finished in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, and graded using Film Convert and stock plugins. The Film Convert stock was IL D400, and film dust was created in After Effects and applied in Premiere.
